Our HAMANAKA Waffle-Stitch Crochet Challenge has come to an exciting conclusion! About the Challenge
Calling all crochet enthusiasts! This event was inspired by our HAMANAKA Waffle-Stitch Coin Purse Workshop, where participants learned the intricate waffle stitch technique using HAMANAKA Amerry yarn. To build on the excitement, we invited crafters to take on a special challenge—creating their own masterpiece using the waffle stitch, whether it be a stylish accessory, a cozy home décor piece, or even wearable art!
To help participants get started, we encouraged them to watch our archived HAMANAKA Waffle-Stitch Workshop for guidance and inspiration. In the workshop, we demonstrated how to crochet a charming coin purse using HAMANAKA Amerry Yarn and a coin purse clasp —a great starting point for those new to the waffle stitch!
